Sprinkler System for the Central Experimental Farm, Ottawa
![]() |
After a disastrous fire a
few years ago which damaged some farm and museum
buildings and resulted in the loss of animals, we have
been selected to design a new sprinkler system. Due
consideration had to be given to the heritage aspect of
the buildings. The project involved Public Works and
Government Services Canada, National Museums of Canada,
Central Experimental Farm, and a few other government
agencies. The design and construction included the new
water supply and distribution system throughout farm
buildings, minor structural works, and architectural
improvements. Project was completed in the summer of 1998 |
