Parking Lot Drainage Improvements - Environment Canada,  Ottawa

We have investigated, surveyed, and proposed immediate and long-term improvements to the parking lot areas. The asphalt pavement has settled and caused loss of several parking spaces, and also poses some risks in the winter time due to extreme icing. The adjoining ditches are full of vegetation and hence have reduced flow capacity. The area is very flat and it is suspected that the subbase material does not provide adequate drainage, limiting repair options. We have prepared a feasibility study for substantial expansion and improvement of the drainage.
