Structural Engineer, P.Eng.

Candidate will be responsible for structural design and inspections related to transportation structures, formwork, shoring and falsework shop drawings. Some projects may be related to industrial or institutional buildings, precast and structural concrete structures. Also, plan checking for housing projects, seizing of beams, posts, footings is required.
Required knowledge of Ontario Building Code and Canadian Highway Bridge Design code.
Proficiency in AutoCad, and also working knowledge of Robot Millenium and MathCad to perform engineering calculations to ensure practical design.
Fluent English report wrting skills.
Must be independent, well organized, with at least 4 years experience as a structural designer.
M.Sc. Civil engineering, specialization in bridge engineering a definite asset.
P.Eng. is a must.
Security Clearance 'secret' criteria may apply.
